Leader List: January 20, 2020
1. Get Ready for 2020 Goal Setting
Goal setting for 2020 is right around the corner! This is an essential organizational process that helps ensure we achieve that many ambitious objectives we have this year. To ensure alignment, leaders should look for guidance from their executive leaders, who may wish to cascade consistent goals. Additional guidance or requirements may also be provided by hospital or division leaders.
While the 2020 Goal Plan in MySuccess is not open yet, it’s not too early to be thinking about which goals you would like to work towards in 2020. Look for more details including the goal-setting timeline and guidance, links to webinars, details about library goals and other resources — coming soon!
Reminder – Thursday, February 6 is the deadline for all performance evaluations to be submitted to the Executive Review step.

4. Your Input Is Needed: Help Harmonize Uniforms at HMH!
Back in November, an Xperience Innovation Café at NJIT was held to begin our journey to harmonize uniforms across the network, a project that will continue throughout 2020. Team member input is vital for this initiative. Therefore, we have asked two of the vendors with the highest rating from the XIC, to come back and visit the various sites so that team members can see and touch their products, and find out about the various options available.
Please click here to see the schedule of uniform vendor visits. We have also developed FAQs in the event your team members have any questions about this initiative.
We will also provide Virtual Vendor Sessions where team members will be able to review a short presentation and provide virtual feedback! Watch for more details in early February.
5. Appreciative Inquiry:
As you huddle with your team this week, let’s continue to focus your appreciative inquiry on communication. What three small changes could you and your co-workers make to increase open and honest communication within your team?
