4. New Team Huddle Launches on January 13
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the team member experience, Team Huddle will launch on Monday, January 13 as a network-wide initiative for you to consistently listen and connect with your team on a daily basis. The request to huddle from our team members came through loud and clear in such forums as the May 2019 Pulse survey, frontline breakfast meetings and the recent Connect to Create summit.
The huddle format is designed to be quick (7 minutes or less), consistent and convenient for sharing team priorities, news and recognition with your team. You can find an effective framework and resources for your huddles on the new Team Huddle Resource Center on TeamHMH.com, with links to existing communication vehicles such as The Leader List, ONE, Pulse, Wambi, etc. Also going forward, each Leader List will include an Appreciative Inquiry question to include in a Team Huddle.
Team Huddles will also be the focus of the 2nd Healthy Competition challenge beginning on January 13, when team members will be encouraged to submit photos of their daily Team Huddles in order to earn points towards the HMH Cup event this year. Additional details are available in the updated Healthy Competition Playbook – see Challenge #2.
