Circle of Compassion Program

Powered by the Colleague to Colleague, WIN and other team member funds.

Hackensack Meridian Health has established the Circle of Compassion Program (powered by the Colleague to Colleague, WIN and other team member funds) to provide confidential aid for team members who are faced with emergent and temporary financial difficulties. This fund brings together nearly $2 million in donations from team members, leaders, senior leadership and the community.

We felt it was important for your peers and colleagues to be managing the program’s review and decision process. To that end, the review committee is comprised of Culture Circle members from across the network.

The committee has three guiding principles:

  • Complete Confidentiality: Every request will be fully blinded before it is presented to the committee to ensure team members privacy.
  • Expediency: The committee will meet as necessary to ensure we review every request within 3 business days, and you will hear back from us within 5 business days.
  • Compassionate Equity: The committee will make decisions based upon outlined criteria and, always, with compassion for our team members.
